    The purpose of this website is to provide information that will support and assist Substitute Educators in PPS. The main resources provide information for day-to-day substituting with PPS as well as provide information on Frequently Asked Questions, Substitute Educator Resources, Site Report, Substitute Labor Agreement, and License Renewal.

    Employment Opportunities

    Substitute Educators are valued members of the èßäÊÓÆµ community who play an integral role in supporting the èßäÊÓÆµ and èßäÊÓÆµ communities of èßäÊÓÆµ every day. Working as a Substitute Educator with èßäÊÓÆµ requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability, as Substitute Educators are eligible to work throughout the district in any èßäÊÓÆµ, any subject, and any grade level. Substitute educators work a flexible schedule on an as-needed basis, and have the ability to assign themselves to jobs via the Absence Management system.

    èßäÊÓÆµ has a competitive hiring process for our Substitute Educator pool. In order to be considered for a Substitute Educator position, you must hold an active Oregon Teaching License issued from TSPC or the ability to obtain one, and you must submit your application to the current Substitute Educator job posting.
