    Aloha everyone, I will be working at Roseway Middle èßäÊÓƵ serving the Pacific Islander community both èßäÊÓƵ and families. I will be doing check ins with èßäÊÓƵ, running after èßäÊÓƵ programs & being of assistance where I can.

     

    I will be on site at the èßäÊÓƵ Tuesdays 1:45pm-5:45pm & on Thursdays from 12pm- 4pm.

    Hello everyone,

    I have been serving as a youth and family advocate for Roseway Heights’ Vietnamese èßäÊÓƵ and families since 2021. My caseload are by referrals only with need-based priorities, especially for newcomers.

    INSPIRE offers afterèßäÊÓƵ programming every Tuesday and Thursday, as well as family engagement and support.

    What does INSPIRE offer to our clients?

    • ACADEMIC CASE MANAGEMENT

    IRCO’s bilingual and bicultural staff work with young people and their families to better succeed in èßäÊÓƵ by setting goals and following up with èßäÊÓƵ, parents and teachers regarding èßäÊÓƵ’ academic progress and challenges.

    • AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING AND ENRICHMENT

    IRCO staff offer weekly small group and one-on-one tutoring groups, intensive math and literacy groups, and sports and enrichment clubs, including field trips.

    • FAMILY ENGAGEMENT

    Staff facilitate bilingual/bicultural èßäÊÓƵ to home and home to èßäÊÓƵ communication. INSPIRE partners with SUN Schools and èßäÊÓƵ staff to offer culturally relevant parent workshops.

    • SUMMER PROGRAMMING

    INSPIRE offers regular summer academic and enrichment programming during the summer months.

This program focuses on academics, attendance, self-esteem, social interactions, positive behavior, relationship with family/adults, and basic needs to give youth elements to succeed.”

     

    What We Do

    • Organize youth summer programming
    • Targeted support for èßäÊÓƵ to improve academic performance and attendance
    • Positive cultural identity, leadership activities and peer support 
    • Parent engagement to enhance home-to-èßäÊÓƵ and èßäÊÓƵ-to-home communication
    • Linkages to anti-poverty services, including food pantries and rental and energy assistance

    I am thrilled to be working with you and your families. I will be conducting student check-ins, running after-èßäÊÓƵ programs, providing support, and making èßäÊÓƵ a fun and welcoming place. I have plans for field trips, sports, games, and family assistance programs. Find me at èßäÊÓƵ on Mondays from lunch until after èßäÊÓƵ in the partners room.
