    Join us at our annual community event focused on empowering Special Education èßäÊÓÆµ for life beyond high èßäÊÓÆµ. Over 20 community-based programs will share services and resources to help èßäÊÓÆµ & families thrive. 3 breakout sessions:

    • 5:30-6:30 Engage with panel of College Disability Services offices from PCC and PSU
    • 6:10-6:40 Explore programs, certificates, and degrees available at PCC and learn about Community Colleges in general
    • 6:50-7:20 Do you need some support with employment now or in the future? Learn all about what services are offered at Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) and Intellectual/Developmental Disability Services (I/DD Services)

    : Sunday, April 27th at 12:00 PM at the University of Portland

    Free and open to the public, PNACAC fairs connect èßäÊÓÆµ with colleges and universities in one convenient location. Students and families will have the opportunity to talk with representatives from colleges and universities, learn about èßäÊÓÆµs, arrange interviews with èßäÊÓÆµs that interest them, and get answers to questions about acceptance policies, financial aid, student-faculty ratio, and more.

     

    : Monday, April 28th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Grant High School

    The event will include an opening presentation by representatives of the GHS Counseling Team and College & Career Center, as well as a keynote on "Starting the College Search" and various sessions hosted by local college & career experts. There will be two sessions of each college & career presentation and each attendee will have the option to select which sessions they attend. Students and parents/guardians are welcome to split up and participate in different sessions. Register to attend at !

    A presentation designed to help high èßäÊÓÆµ èßäÊÓÆµ, and their families understand how education can change their lives, how to choose their education path, and learn how to pay for college. Identify what steps they can take now to prepare for education beyond high èßäÊÓÆµ. Presenter: Jenn Satalino, Director of The College Place-Oregon (ECMC).

    Senior Celebration: Friday, May 2nd from 9 AM to 4 PM in the College & Career Center

    On Friday, May 2nd, the College & Career Center will be hosting a Senior Celebration. Seniors can stop by the CCC, room 128, between 9 am and 4 pm to fill out their , enter to win prizes, put themselves on the Class of 2025 map, and grab a cupcake.

    The Black Baccalaureate welcomes Black èßäÊÓÆµ graduating from post-secondary institutions, trade programs, high èßäÊÓÆµs, and alternative èßäÊÓÆµs in the Portland Metro and SW Washington areas. The Black Baccalaureate is a historical celebration of the Black community, families, friends, and supporters coming together and collectively honoring our youth while instilling a sense of cultural pride in those who have fulfilled this pivotal stage in their development.     Willamette University Camp College: July 23rd to 25th at Willamette University; Deadline is May 19th

    Camp College is an application-based program open to rising high èßäÊÓÆµ juniors and seniors committed to pursuing a four-year college or university education. To be eligible, applicants must: 

    • Be on track to graduating high èßäÊÓÆµ in June 2026 or June 2027;
    • Be enrolled and attend a high èßäÊÓÆµ within the Willamette Valley;
    • Demonstrate a solid commitment to attending a four-year college or university; and,
    • Display leadership experience or potential.

    This three-day, two-night camp experience offers èßäÊÓÆµ from Salem and the greater Willamette Valley to attend a sample college class, discover the differences between college types and sizes, and attend workshops that will better prepare them for a successful college application process.

    UO SAIL pre-college immersive summer programs and year-round mentoring programs inspire Oregon high èßäÊÓÆµ èßäÊÓÆµ to pursue, enroll and succeed in higher education. FREE weeklong day programs for rising high èßäÊÓÆµ juniors and rising seniors, hosted on the University of Oregon Eugene campus, where high èßäÊÓÆµ èßäÊÓÆµ learn about various subjects from distinguished University of Oregon faculty members through fun, social, and interactive activities. !
