• CHS Counseling Program Mission Statement

    The Cleveland High School Counseling Department's mission is to provide a comprehensive èßäÊÓƵ counseling program that supports all èßäÊÓƵ.  Counselors support èßäÊÓƵ in building skills around academic success, social/emotional wellness, community/service involvement, and college/career readiness.  The program develops lifelong learners with critical thinking skills, while ensuring student safety, equity and access to education.

Academic Counseling

  • There are five counselors at Cleveland. Students èßäÊÓƵ with the same counselor for their entire four years of high èßäÊÓƵ.

    • Assist èßäÊÓƵ, parents, and staff with educational planning
    • Assist èßäÊÓƵ with post-high èßäÊÓƵ planning
    • Assist èßäÊÓƵ and families toward a successful high èßäÊÓƵ experience
    • Assist èßäÊÓƵ with problems that interfere with their ability to succeed in èßäÊÓƵ
