CHS Counseling Program Mission Statement
The Cleveland High School Counseling Department's mission is to provide a comprehensive èßäÊÓÆµ counseling program that supports all èßäÊÓÆµ. Counselors support èßäÊÓÆµ in building skills around academic success, social/emotional wellness, community/service involvement, and college/career readiness. The program develops lifelong learners with critical thinking skills, while ensuring student safety, equity and access to education.

There are five counselors at Cleveland. Students èßäÊÓÆµ with the same counselor for their entire four years of high èßäÊÓÆµ.
Counseling Department's Goals
- Assist èßäÊÓÆµ, parents, and staff with educational planning
- Assist èßäÊÓÆµ with post-high èßäÊÓÆµ planning
- Assist èßäÊÓÆµ and families toward a successful high èßäÊÓÆµ experience
- Assist èßäÊÓÆµ with problems that interfere with their ability to succeed in èßäÊÓÆµ
