  • Change to Bell Schedules 2024-25

    PPS added 15 instructional minutes for elementary and middle èßäÊÓƵ èßäÊÓƵ and provided all middle èßäÊÓƵ èßäÊÓƵ with a seven-period day. Accommodating these changes while supporting 410 minutes per week of teacher planning time and aligning our transportation systems requires us to adopt common start and stop times:

    • K-5 èßäÊÓƵs, èßäÊÓƵ will start at 8:00 AM and end at 2:30 PM

    • K-8 èßäÊÓƵs, all èßäÊÓƵ will start at 8:45 AM.

      • K-5 èßäÊÓƵ will end at 3:15 PM.

      • 6-8 èßäÊÓƵ will end at 3:30 PM

    • Middle èßäÊÓƵs, èßäÊÓƵ will start at 9:15 AM and end at 4:00 PM

    • High èßäÊÓƵs, èßäÊÓƵ will start at 8:26 AM and end at 3:30 PM

  • PPS¡¯s Comprehensive School Psychologist Program Gets Crucial Boost from $5.5 Million Grant

    èßäÊÓƵ’ Comprehensive School Psychology program was recently named the recipient of a prestigious $5.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education for its proven track record of improving student well-being and academic performance. 

    The renewable, èßäÊÓƵ-based mental health grant will be used to provide comprehensive èßäÊÓƵ psychology services to 18 Title I èßäÊÓƵs across the district for the 2024-25 èßäÊÓƵ year. This is up from 11 èßäÊÓƵs served in the previous year. Through the duration of the grant, 25 èßäÊÓƵs designated as Title I at the time of the grant award will receive comprehensive èßäÊÓƵ psychology services.
