Child care for èßäÊÓƵ with infants

This program helps parents learn how to navigate the èßäÊÓƵ system more effectively, how to talk to their youth about difficult subjects, how to better support their youth in high èßäÊÓƵ and in preparation for college. Workshops 2 times each month in the evening. Sofia Dominguez will be leading the Colegio de Padres at Roosevelt for all èßäÊÓƵ enrolled in Early Escalera and Escalera. This program helps parents learn how to navigate the èßäÊÓƵ system more effectively, how to talk to their youth

Connects families and the èßäÊÓƵ, providing support, resources, and Spanish translation for better engagement.

Free and confidential individual and family therapy for all èßäÊÓƵ and their families in English and Spanish

The Food Pantry runs weekly on Fridays from 1:00-3:00. Food distributions will happen on Ida Street. There will be signage and staff to help guide families to the pantry inside the èßäÊÓƵ. Hours are subject to change during the Summer: please refer to Oregon Food Bank's website for those updates.

The I Am Academy provides leadership and mentoring to black èßäÊÓƵ.

Bimonthly workshops provide parents with the skills and resources they need to support and advocate for their student's educational journey.

After-èßäÊÓƵ/mentoring program. Early Escalera is for 9th and 10th graders and is a great way to develop goals and friendships at èßäÊÓƵ. It is oriented around cultural identity, academic support, community building, and field trips.

Mental Health Consultant

Description: Mission: Citizen is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping future US citizens pass the naturalization exam and become effective citizens. We offer citizenship classes at Roosevelt High School two to three times per year in terms of 10 classes. Students who complete all 10 classes are eligible to receive a stipend to offset the cost of the naturalization exam.

NAMI Multnomah's mission is to improve the quality of life for people living with mental illness and their families through support, education and advocacy.

Your èßäÊÓƵ nurse, Nicky Zimmerman, is here to help èßäÊÓƵ with any medical issues. She evaluates illness symptoms or injuries, and gives guidance on whether you need to go home, need to see your doctor, or can go back to class. For èßäÊÓƵ with chronic medical conditions (including allergies, asthma, diabetes, seizures, etc.), she can help them make a èßäÊÓƵ health management plan to be prepared for symptoms or problems. She is also a resource for immunizations, hearing and vision.

ParentVue is a free app that allows you to see grades, attendance, and schedules for all your PPS èßäÊÓƵ, all in one place.

Parents, if you ever have questions about prom, dances, Rider Gear, community events, or èßäÊÓƵ fundraising (non-athletic), our Activities Director (and leadership teacher) Sierra Hill is the person who can help you.

Step Up is an academic success program that supports èßäÊÓƵ and families at RHS and elsewhere. Step Up mentors and tutors èßäÊÓƵ and works closely with families to increase high èßäÊÓƵ success. Step Up also has past èßäÊÓƵ currently working as staff at RHS! This all starts in the summer, where incoming freshmen attend a week long empowerment/leadership camp. From there, we identify their goals and dreams, and coach them on creating a life worth living.

The Multnomah County health clinic at Roosevelt provides medical services for our èßäÊÓƵ and the community. They are open Monday-Friday 8:30AM -5:00 PM.

SUN runs all after èßäÊÓƵ clubs and activities. We offer educational support, enrichment and recreational activities, skill development, and community involvement programs. We also oversee our èßäÊÓƵs food pantry and clothing closet.

I am a èßäÊÓƵ social worker with Teen Parent Services. Our program serves any and all pregnant and/or parenting èßäÊÓƵ (moms and dads) district-wide. I work with individuals and groups of èßäÊÓƵ to provide information related to prenatal care, childbirth preparation, parenting support, social-emotional needs and resources to strengthen their roles as both èßäÊÓƵ and parents towards the goal of high èßäÊÓƵ graduation. The McKinney-Vento (formerly Title X) Homeless Program serves all Roosevelt èßäÊÓƵ who do not have a fixed, regular & adequate living situation or are living doubled-up. Families who would like to apply for Title X benefits should speak to their student's counselor or Julie Wicklander, our registrar.
