Inter-District Transfers 2025-26
OPEN DATES Start: April 15, 2025 End: September 2025 (Results on a rolling basis starting in June) MORE INFORMATION
Transfers across district lines require permission from both districts.
The PPS School Board voted on the 2025-26 Inter-district Transfer resolution on April 15, 2025. Details can be found at the Board Resolution 7090. If you do not qualify for the standard Inter-district Transfer, reach out to enrollment-office@pps.net to request a Hardship Inter-district Transfer application.
Applications for a standard release received by 5/16/25 will receive responses by 5/30/25.

2025-2026 Hardship Petition
PPS families use the hardship petition process to request a transfer out of a child’s current/assigned PPS èßäÊÓƵ and into a different PPS èßäÊÓƵ. See the Petition Process Overview at www.pps.net/petitionprocess to learn more about the transfer process.
The transfer application is available through ParentVUE. Create, activate or log into ParentVUE at www.pps.net/parentvue.Refer to the for submitting a petition in ParentVUE.

2024-25 Mid-Year Transfers
Due to limited space, wait lists are closed at most èßäÊÓƵs for the remainder of this èßäÊÓƵ year. Individual waitlist updates were sent to families in mid-October. Please call/email if you did not receive a waitlist update.
If you are considering a mid-year transfer, please start by contacting your student’s current counselor or èßäÊÓƵ administrator. Enrollment and Transfer will not process mid-year transfer requests for current èßäÊÓƵ without a referral from their èßäÊÓƵ.
